Descripción

This code indicates that the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is sending a signal that is too low to the engine computer. The computer believes the pressure in the intake manifold is lower than it should be.

Causas comunes

  • Faulty MAP sensor
  • Wiring issues (short to ground or open circuit)
  • Vacuum leak
  • Clogged vacuum hose to the MAP sensor

  • Check Engine Light is on
  • Engine runs poorly, especially at idle
