This code means the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is sending a signal that is too high to the engine computer. The computer thinks the pressure in the intake manifold is higher than it should be.

Causas comunes

  • Faulty MAP sensor
  • Wiring issues (short to voltage)
  • MAP sensor vacuum hose disconnected or blocked
  • Internal engine issues causing high manifold pressure (rare)
